Half way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive had a pretty good week. I'm starting to not feel SO tired, but by the end of the night I am pretty worn out.

In the last week and a half I have started to feel her move so much more. I never expected it to feel so weird. :) I love it, but sometimes I jump or make faces because it just feels so different than I thought it would. Last thursday while laying in bed I felt her move and wiggle around. She kicked me so hard I could feel it on the outside. ;)

We also had a great week with Caitlyn last week. She is still playing t ball and she will tell you "I only play for fun!" :) I think she will do much better in dance class. I cannot believe in a month from tomorrow she will be starting Kindergarten. =[!!!!!

Next wednesday I have our "anatomy scan" and a doctors appointment. :)

Jesse and I registered tonight at Target for the shower. That was fun to pick things out for her room, and things she will be using.
We might also paint her room this weekend if we have time. ;)

Twenty week update:
This week you're carrying around 10.5 inches and 10.5 ounces of solid magical baby goodness!
Your fantastic fetus' fragile tiny bones continue to ossify and toughen while their itsy bitsy finger and toe pads (and unique finger prints) are finishing up.
Your little womb-dancer also has teeth buds sprouting beneath their gum line.
And finally! Your wee one's limbs have reached their relative proportions — no more bobble-head!
Their little pink lips are more defined, and might be helping out in a bit of prenatal thumb-sucking.
If you have a little boy: their tiny testes are descending, though they have not yet passed the abdominal wall.
And in a final anti-alien development: the first of their tiny eyelashes and eyebrows are now present.
Essentially, your little one really does looks like a miniature baby — and we do mean miniature - your little swimmer currently weighs a mere eighth of their birth weight.
Good work mama! You're bakin' a beautiful baby and you're already half-done!

19 weeks

I think we have officially decided on a name for the baby :) Jesse told me to name her whatever I want so I think I have decided on Charlotte Rae Lewis <3 ! I cannot imagine her not being my little Charlotte :)

This last week has been great. It went a little faster since I was not anticipating an ultrasound ! This has been such a hot week, its ridiculous. I am so happy that I have summer clothes now - Because I would have literally DIED without them.

Caitlyn had her first t ball game and did pretty well, except being distracted :) But she ran the right way on the bases. She is getting excited about being a big sister again !

We got a few things this week from some family/friends :) Erica gave us a pretty awesome stroller. And Holly gave us a huge bag of 0-3 month girl clothes, a baby bath and a diaper pale.

Its just so crazy how fast this is going ! In 21 weeks I will be a mom of two, and have an infant LOL!

This is what she will be doing this week ...
19 week update :

I have been feeling pretty well. Still just very very tired all the time. Its getting a little better - but I am still tired.   I am feeling her kick and move a lot more too! Which I adore <3

Here are some pictures also from the week, and of the Ultrasound.

Its a .......

This has been one of the longest weeks ever, and I mean .. E.V.E.R!!!!

Caitlyn started t ball last week. :) She is very excited to be playing again but she seems to be a little confused though even though this is her third year playing !! :)

I worked most of the weekend. :)

On Monday I went to the dragons game with my cousins Lauren & Aron and Johnathon. That was a lot of fun until it started to pour down with rain and storm. =\

Today we had our ultrasound =] And I some exciting news ;)
Its a ...

GIRL!!! =D=D

I am very excited =] I cannot wait to meet her. Its going to be wonderful. Two girls!! Two proms, two weddings!! AHH lol!!

I have an idea of a name but its not 100% yet! =]

Ill have pictures soon. Since it was with the school they loaded the pictures on my usb port - and they wouldnt load so they lady is suppose to email them to me =]

Everything looked great. She was such a little monkey moving around ! I cannot wait to meet her !!

Few pictures from this week ...

Here is what SHE will be doing this week =]
WOOHOO! We have two more ounces of amazing baby this week!
Your super-cute uterus hi-jacker is smack in the middle of a growth spurt!
Oh and guess what? They're also all slathered in a greasy, waxy, cheese-like substance known as vernix caseosa.
Yeah, it sounds pretty nasty, but the mixture of fatty secretions covers your little swimmer from head to toe and protects their paper-thin skin from bruising, abrasions, and chapping caused by amniotic fluid exposure.
And then there's the birthing process, right? You know, where you have to push something the size of a watermelon out a hole the size of a grape.
Well, that adorable little greased piglet would have a lot harder time getting through the birth canal if they didn't have that greasy vernix caseosa slip-n-sliding them out of your hyper-extended birth canal.

16 weeks

Ok, So I am thinking I need to get on this and update on Thursdays so you guys can see what the baby is doing that week, not the past week. But oh well - I'll figure it out. :D
This is what the baby did this week..

Over the past three weeks your magical-gro baby has managed to add on yet another 2 full inches of length (totaling about 4.5 inches) and now weighs a whopping 3.5 ounces!
Guess what? Your little lollipop is not so bobble-headed anymore!
Yep, your baby's head-to-body ratio is starting to even out, as the rest of their body - including their arms and legs (the better to kick you with!) plays catch-up.
One of the most anticipated moments in pregnancy is the "quickening" or the first time you undeniably feel your child move inside of you.
In some cultures a woman is not even considered pregnant untilshe experiences the quickening!
Women claim to feel it as early as 14 weeks. That said, other women laugh at the thought of that woman cherishing a fart that's rumbling in her small intestines.
In general, it's safe to say that after 18 - 20 weeks, all women will experience the quickening as a definitive non-fart poke or prod from within their womb.
Those sweet little flutters will evolve into pokes, prods, and even outright painful kicking as your break-dancing baby-cakes grow in size and seek ways to straighten out in their increasingly cramped quarters.
If you had that gender ultrasound right now, which most doctors recommend at about this time, you might see your little one sucking their thumb, not to mention the necessary signifiers to let you know whether you've got a wee lad or lassie.
Awww..

We got a crib. : ) I am pretty excited about this. It is the start of getting baby things, and it makes me EXCITED. Thank you Nana and Papa Purvis :) Ill post pictures once its up. I have finally gotten all of the junk out of the spare/babies room. We have a bed to remove and then hopefully next weekend can paint it.

We had a good 4th of July weekend. I worked most of it. Jesse and I saw fireworks together on Saturday. On Monday we took Caity fishing and hung out with her most of the day. :)

I had a doctors appointment today. I am measuring at 17 weeks (which is tomorrow so right on). Babies heartbeat was 142. It took two technicians to find the heartbeat so I was a little worried. But, they said its normal because the baby is still tiny.

We now have 6 days until our 3D ultrasound and I cannot wait. I am so excited. I really really hope they can see the sex of the baby :) :) :)

I am pretty set on what we are going to do with the babies room now ;) MONKEYS! :) :) :)

Here are a few pictures from the week - and Ill post the fetal update for week 17 so you can see what the baby is doing NEXT week ;)

17 week update :)

Don't look now, but... your baby is EVEN bigger, cuter, AND smarter than last week!
Yes ma'am, your fantastic little bean stalk has added yet another half inch to their overall height - making them nearly half a foot long!
Their little limbs have nearly reached their proper proportions and will continue to grow evenly with the rest of the body from here on out.
They're now becoming capable of hearing and reacting to sounds even though their ears are not yet structurally complete or fully functional.
Meanwhile, different parts of your mini-Einstein's astonishingly complex brain are developing to process your little one's hearing and other senses, (you know, sight, smell, taste and touch).
Mind boggling factoid of the week: if you're having going to have a little girl, her ovaries have already produced millions of primordial egg cells, which, within a few weeks, will develop into actual eggs! Phew… just wait till she's a teenager eh?
